Microneedling

What Does Microneedling Treat?

A microneedling device with fine, sterile needles is used to create controlled micro-punctures in the skin. These small injuries trigger your body’s natural repair response, leading to smoother, healthier, more youthful-looking skin.

Microneedling can be enhanced with serums such as peptides and exosomes, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) or platelet-rich fibrin (PRF).

How Do They Work?

Neuromodulators work by blocking nerve signals to the muscles, preventing them from contracting. This helps smooth out dynamic wrinkles caused by repeated facial expressions.

What to Expect During Treatment

  • Treatment time: Approximately 60 minutes (including prep)
  • Pain level: Mild – a topical numbing cream is applied for comfort
  • Downtime: Minimal to moderate, depending on skin sensitivity and depth of treatment
  • Skin may appear red or flushed for 1–3 days (like a mild sunburn)

When Will I See Results?

  • Skin begins to look refreshed in 3–7 days
  • Continued improvement occurs over the next 4–6 weeks as collagen builds
  • A series of 4–6 treatments (spaced 4–6 weeks apart) is usually recommended for best results
